Japan-India FTA enters into force
NEW DELHI, India - Akitaka Saiki (L), Japanese Ambassador to India, shakes hands with Indian Commerce Secretary Rahul Khullar in New Delhi on Aug. 1, 2011, after they signed a document on a bilateral free trade agreement. The Japan-India FTA entered into force the same day to scrap tariffs on goods that account for 94 percent of the two-way trade flows over 10 years.
