Cabinet members OK new nuclear agency
TOKYO, Japan - Goshi Hosono, minister in charge of the nuclear crisis, speaks to reporters at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on Aug. 12, 2011, after a meeting at which Prime Minister Naoto Kan and relevant Cabinet ministers agreed to set up a new nuclear safety agency under the Environment Ministry, in the wake of the crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
