Typhoon forces whalers to forgo 1st day of dolphin hunt
TAIJI, Japan - Antiwhaling activist Richard O'Barry (C) arrives in the traditional whaling town of Taiji, Wakayama Prefecture, on Sept. 1, 2011. Local fishermen postponed the start of their annual hunt for dolphins, whales and other cetaceans due to an approaching typhoon over waters off Japan's Pacific coast.
