U.S. President Obama visits North Carolina
ASHEVILLE, United States - U.S. President Barack Obama delivers a speech at Asheville Regional Airport in North Carolina on Oct. 17, 2011, as he launched a three-day bus tour through North Carolina and Virginia. Obama pushed for his jobs bill, citing independent economists who said the bill would create nearly 2 million jobs, while also saying 63 percent of Americans support the ideas in the bill, based on a poll.
