SEOUL, South Korea - Photo taken on Dec. 18, 2011, shows a statue dedicated to women who were forced into sexual slavery for the Japanese military during World War II, known euphemistically in Japan as ''comfort women,'' in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul. People placed clothes on the statue after it was erected on Dec. 14 amid cold weather.
