Ex-Japan PM Koizumi on Kim's death
TOKYO, Japan - Former Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi listens to a reporter's question in Tokyo on Dec. 19, 2011, following news that North Korean leader Kim Jong Il had died. Koizumi, who held talks with Kim twice while prime minister, said Japan does not need to change its stance on North Korea -- a dual track of dialogue and pressure -- following Kim's death.
