Women in New York sell Fukushima children's drawings for charity

NEW YORK, United States - Japanese singer songwriter AK (R) sells gift wrapping paper with Fukushima Prefecture children's drawings printed on it. The special wrapping paper was being sold at a charity campaign event in New York on Dec. 10, 2011, for survivors of the devastating March earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan.

Okamoto's missing work recreated in photo

OSAKA, Japan - ''Chitei no Taiyo,'' a work by the late artist Taro Okamoto, is displayed after being recreated from a photo for an exhibition at the Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, on Aug. 26, 2011. The work, literally meaning ''underground sun,'' was one of four works portraying a face that was part of the 1970 Osaka expo's symbolic structure ''Tower of the Sun'' and went missing afterward. The exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of Okamoto's birth is scheduled to be held from Aug. 27 through Oct. 10.

Calculators with 'anime,' 'manga' characters
