DPJ lawmaker Saito to leave DPJ

Saito said Dec. 27, 2011, in his blog that he will leave the ruling party to protest DPJ leader and Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda's intention to raise the consumption tax and join talks on a U.S.-led Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade agreement.
