PM Noda addresses GSDF on S. Sudan mission
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda speaks in front of members of the Ground Self-Defense Force at the Defense Ministry in Tokyo on Jan. 7, 2012, ahead of their deployment to South Sudan on a U.N. peacekeeping mission. Noda said the deployment is to show Japan's appreciation to the international community for its assistance following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
