Humpback whale near Okinawa's Kerama Islands
NAHA, Japan - A humpback whale reveals its tailfin before diving deep off Tokashiki Island, Okinawa Prefecture, on Jan. 24, 2012. Humpback whales, migrating from waters near Alaska to warmer waters, are often sighted off the Kerama Islands between around January and March, becoming a major attraction for whale-watching tours in the area.
