Renewable energy projects in Mongolia
TOKYO, Japan - Softbank Corp. President Masayoshi Son (2nd from R) holds signed documents in Tokyo on March 12, 2012, after the company agreed to form a research firm in Mongolia in April 2012 with Mongolian investment firm Newcom Group to promote wind and solar power generation projects in the country. The new firm, Clean Energy Asia LLC., will select sites for wind and solar power projects in the Gobi desert and conduct feasibility studies for the projects. Mongolian Prime Minister Sukhbaatar Batbold (2nd from L) attended the document signing.
