1.79 mil. students take achievement tests
TOKYO, Japan - Sixth graders of an elementary school in Tokyo take the education ministry's achievement tests on April 17, 2012. According to the ministry, around 1.79 million sixth-grade elementary and third-year junior high school students nationwide sat the same day for unified achievement tests, after the tests were suspended last year in the wake of the March 2011 disaster.
