Owner of tsunami-swept volleyball found

The balls apparently floated across the Pacific Ocean after being swept away from northeastern Japan in the March 2011 tsunami. Their owners have been located in Japan.

American to ship back items lost in tsunami to Japan

The couple initially expressed their intention to deliver the items back to their original owners in person during their upcoming trip to Japan, but have now opted to ship them instead in consideration of the owners' privacy, David Baxter told Kyodo News on May 23, 2012.
