Emperor, empress to visit Britain in May

TOKYO, Japan - Undated file photos show Japanese Emperor Akihito (L) and Empress Michiko. The emperor and empress will make an official visit to Britain from May 16, 2012, to attend events to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne, the government said on May 8.
