Suspect denies murdering Japanese man
SANTIAGO, Chile - Christopher Quijada (L), accused of murdering a Japanese scientist during a robbery in Santiago, leaves a courtroom in the Chilean capital on May 11, 2012. Quijada, 25, who was arrested the previous day on suspicion of robbing and murdering Koichiro Morita, 58, a professor at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, did not intend to kill his victim, his attorney said at a court hearing examining grounds for the detention of the suspect.
