Ozawa might create new party
TOKYO, Japan - Former Democratic Party of Japan leader Ichiro Ozawa heads for a meeting with DPJ Secretary General Azuma Koshiishi in the Diet on June 21, 2012. Ozawa referred to the possibility of creating a new party unless Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda's government drops its proposal to raise the nation's sales tax rate, raising the specter of a split in the ruling party.
