Students send messages to U.S. teen who found tsunami-swept ball
RIKUZENTAKATA, Japan - Members of Kesen Junior High School's basketball club in Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture, show a ball on June 28, 2012, on which they have written "Thank you" and other messages in English and Japanese, as well as other gifts for Aleasha Hohorst, an 18-year-old American girl who returned a basketball with the school's name on it after finding it in Alaska in March 2012, a year after the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
