TAKAMATSU, Japan - "Udon No" (udon noodle brain), a character devised as having woken up one morning to find its head filled with udon noodles instead of a brain, debuts as the official mascot of an udon producers' association in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture on July 2, 2012.

          FUKUOKA, Japan - Tomoshi Murakami who runs the noodle shop Azumi Udon Yanagawa shows off the ''eclipse'' noodle bowl at his shop in Yanagawa in the western Japanese prefecture of Fukuoka on July 6.
