China expands Afghanistan presence in hunt for natural resources
KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan and Chinese officials sign a contract on April 28, 2012, in Aynak, Logar Province of Afghanistan, allowing China to develop a copper mine in the area. Surveys have located one of the world's largest copper deposits in the area.
