Japan to deport activists arrested over Senkaku landing
NAHA, Japan - Activists from a Hong Kong-based group seeking to assert China's claim to the Japanese-controlled Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea, and other people, are escorted off a Japan Coast Guard patrol vessel at a port in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, on Aug. 16, 2012. Japanese authorities are set to deport 14 people, including the activists, who were all arrested the previous day for violating Japan's immigration control law after some of them landed on one of the islands.
