Myanmar ends censorship of local print media
YANGON, Myanmar - Local journalists stage a demonstration in Yangon on Aug. 4, 2012, calling for the end of media censorship after the Myanmar government ordered the temporary suspension of two local weekly papers. The government announced on Aug. 20 that it has decided to abolish censorship of the country's print media.
