Aftermath of powerful typhoon in Okinawa

NAHA, Japan - Tourists make inquiries at Naha airport in Okinawa Prefecture on the morning of Aug. 27, 2012, as the season's 15th typhoon, one of the most powerful in many years, brought much of the traffic to a standstill in and around Okinawa. Domestic airlines continued grounding most of their flights after the typhoon hit the southern Japanese island the previous day.
