KITAKYUSHU, Japan - A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey aircraft flies over the Kammon Straits, with the city of Kitakyushu seen in the background, after taking off from the Marines' Iwakuni Air Station in Yamaguchi Prefecture on Sept. 21, 2012. The aircraft flew over Japan for the first time in test flights amid persistent safety concerns among local people, following the Japanese government's announcement that they are safe to fly.
