Noda retains DPJ leadership
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda bows after being reelected leader of the Democratic Party of Japan, while other lawmakers from the ruling party applaud, at a Tokyo hotel on Sept. 21, 2012. Noda easily defeated his three challengers in the party presidential election, remaining as Japan's premier despite low public support for the DPJ and the possibility he may be forced to dissolve the House of Representatives soon.
