Japan-U.S. joint drill to defend remote islands
GUAM, United States - Members of Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force and the U.S. Marine Corps board small boats to head for a landing point on the northern shore of the island of Guam during a joint drill on Sept. 22, 2012, aimed at strengthening their ability to defend remote islands from foreign assault. The drill was open to media organizations.
