Police remove Osprey opponents
GINOWAN, Japan - Local residents stage a protest against the planned deployment of the controversial MV-22 Osprey aircraft in front of the Oyama gate of the U.S. Marine Corps' Futenma Air Station in Ginowan, Okinawa Prefecture, on Sept. 30, 2012. Police forcibly removed the residents who had blocked the gate into the base and removed the barricade the residents formed by parking 12 vehicles in front of the gate.
