Google names Japan arm as disaster recovery center in Asia

TOKYO, Japan - David Drummond, a senior vice president of Google Inc., speaks to reporters in Tokyo on Oct. 12, 2012. Drummond said Google designated its Japanese arm as a center for providing support for disaster recovery, the first such base outside the United States.
