LDP chief Abe visits war-linked Yasukuni Shrine
TOKYO, Japan - Shinzo Abe, leader of the main opposition Liberal Democratic Party, is surrounded by reporters after visiting Yasukuni Shrine, which enshrines many of Japan's war dead including some Class-A war criminals, in Tokyo on Oct. 17, 2012, on the occasion of the shrine's grand festival in fall.
