Film director Koji Wakamatsu dies
TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows Japanese film director Koji Wakamatsu posing with the Silver Bear award for Best Actress at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin on Feb. 20, 2010, after receiving the award on behalf of Shinobu Terajima, who starred in his film "Caterpillar." Wakamatsu, known for his works on violence, politics and erotic themes, died Oct. 17, 2012, at age 76, after being hospitalized for serious injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
