Baseball, softball world bodies to merge

HOUSTON, United States -The world governing body for softball, the ISF, meets in Houston, Texas, on Oct. 30, 2012. The organization gave the green light to a plan to merge with the baseball federation, the IBAF. The two groups hope to give themselves a better shot of rejoining the Olympic program.
