Man arrested in Aichi bank standoff, all hostages released
TOYOKAWA, Japan - Police officers cut through a glass window at Toyokawa Shinkin Bank's Zoshi branch in Toyokawa, Aichi Prefecture, in the early hours of Nov. 23, 2012, to rescue hostages being held by a man armed with a knife during a standoff lasting more than 12 hours. Police arrested the man, Koji Nagakubo, and released all captives.
