Beijing Marathon

BEIJING, China - Runners start the Beijing Marathon from Tiananmen Square in the Chinese capital on Nov. 25, 2012. Japanese runners took part in the event, despite Chinese organizers initially refusing to register them for the annual event amid tensions over the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea, administered by Japan but claimed by China.
