Iwakuni airport opens

IWAKUNI, Japan - Passengers undergo procedures to board the first departure flight, an All Nippon Airways plane bound for Tokyo's Haneda airport, at a new military-civilian airport opened on Dec. 13, 2012, in the western Japan city of Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, where the U.S. Marine Corps operates an air station.
