Day after general election in Japan
TOKYO, Japan - Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, head of Japan's main opposition Liberal Democratic Party, answers reporters' questions at the party's headquarters in Tokyo on Dec. 17, 2012, the day after the LDP's landslide win in a general election. The LDP and its ally New Komeito together won a two-thirds majority in the 480-seat House of Representatives, enabling Abe to reclaim the premiership at a special Diet session to be held Dec. 26.
