Mitsubishi Motors inspected over improper handling of recalls

TOKYO, Japan - Officials from the transport ministry enter the head office of Mitsubishi Motors Corp. in Tokyo's Minato Ward on Dec. 25, 2012, to conduct an on-site inspection to examine the manufacturer's efforts to improve business following a government warning issued the previous week over its "passive" stance regarding the recall of potentially defective cars.
