Japan eases import restrictions on U.S. beef
TOKYO, Japan - U.S. beef is sold at a discount price in Tokyo's Kita Ward on Feb. 1, 2013. Japan the same day eased beef import restrictions aimed at preventing the spread of mad cow disease, paving the way for increased beef imports from countries such as the United States.
