China warship directs 'fire-control' radar at Japan destroyer
TOKYO, Japan - File photo taken in October 2000 shows the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer Yuudachi. A Chinese warship directed ''fire-control'' radar at the vessel in the East China Sea on Jan. 30, the Japanese government said Feb. 5. The two countries are involved in a dispute over the ownership of a group of uninhabited islands in the sea.
