Parallel traders between China, H.K.
HONG KONG, China - A December 2012 photo shows so-called parallel traders lining up at a railway station in northern Hong Kong carrying goods purchased in the territory to Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, in mainland China. Hong Kong announced measures in February 2013 to address a shortage of infant formula in the territory caused by bulk purchases by mainland tourists and traders and who resell the milk powder in China at a profit.
