Takeshima Day event in Japan
MATSUE, Japan - A ceremony is held in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, western Japan, on Feb. 22, 2013, marking "Takeshima Day." South Korea controls the pair of islets in the Sea of Japan and calls them Dokdo, while Japan claims the islands are part of Shimane Prefecture and calls them Takeshima.
