Ospreys begin 1st training flights over Japan's main islands
IWAKUNI, Japan - Photo taken in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, on March 6, 2013, shows three U.S. Marine MV-22 Osprey flying over the Marine Corps' Iwakuni Air Station. The U.S. military started low-altitude training flights of its Osprey aircraft, deployed at the Marines' Futenma Air Station in Okinawa Prefecture, the same day over western Japan, marking the planes' first operation over Japan's main islands.
