Ospreys begin 1st training flights over Japan's main islands
MATSUYAMA, Japan - Photo taken from around the Besshiyama district in Niihama, Ehime Prefecture, on March 6, 2013, shows U.S. Marine MV-22 Osprey aircraft flying to the Marine Corps' Iwakuni Air Station. The U.S. military started low-altitude training flights of its Osprey aircraft, deployed at the Marines' Futenma Air Station in Okinawa Prefecture, the same day over western Japan, marking the helicopters' first operation over Japan's main islands.
