Indigenous people in Kalimantan
TANJUNG ISUY, Indonesia - Photo taken in February 2013 shows a woman of the indigenous Kenyah people, whose earlobes are stretched, in a village on Kalimantan Island, Indonesia. It has been a tradition in the Kenyah to pierce their newborn baby girls' ears for earrings to extend the earlobes, but as their lifestyle has been modernized, local people say no parents of newborn girls follow the custom nowadays.
