Japanese lawmakers visit Yasukuni Shrine
TOKYO, Japan - A nonpartisan group of Japanese lawmakers arrive at the war-related Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo on April 23, 2013, to offer prayers. At center-front is Sanae Takaichi, policy chief of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party. The visit by a total of 168 lawmakers followed recent visits by three Cabinet ministers and offerings made by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
