Chinese ships converge near Senkakus
ISHIGAKI, Japan - Aerial photo taken by Kyodo News shows the Japan Coast Guard patrol ship Ishigaki (C) preventing the Chinese maritime surveillance vessel Haijian 66 (R, top) from sailing closer to a Japanese fishing ship (L, bottom) around a border area of Japan's territorial waters near the Japan-controlled Senkaku Islands, claimed by China, in the East China Sea at 10:09 a.m. on April 23, 2013. Eight Chinese maritime surveillance vessels entered Japanese territorial waters the same day around the Senkaku Islands, the Japan Coast Guard said.
