Mayor's meeting with former sex slaves canceled
OSAKA, Japan - Combined file photo shows Kim Bok Dong (L), 87, and Kil Won Ok, 84, two South Korean women who were forced to serve as wartime sex slaves. They canceled a scheduled meeting with Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto on May 24, 2013, saying it is "worthless." Hashimoto has been under fire over his claim that sexual servitude was "necessary to maintain discipline" in the Japanese military.
