Tokyo police award officers for soccer crowd control
TOKYO, Japan - File photo taken from video footage shows a police officer who used humor in urging jubilant soccer fans to maintain order outside Tokyo's JR Shibuya Station on the evening of June 4, 2013, after Japan's national team qualified for their fifth World Cup finals. He was dubbed by Internet users as "DJ police." The Metropolitan Police Department awarded him and another officer on June 13 the Superintendent General Award for skillfully directing crowds of soccer fans.
