Riots in China's Xinjiang

LUKQUN, China - Photo taken June 27, 2013, shows bloodstained sandals left near a building that was raided by an armed group in Lukqun township of Shanshan County in Turpan Prefecture, China. Rioting and police gunfire happened the previous day in the remote town in northwestern China's restive Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, killing a total of 27 people.
