World swimming championships
BARCELONA, Spain - Japan's Daiya Seto (C) shows the gold medal during the award ceremony after winning the men's 400-meter individual medley at the world swimming championships in Barcelona, Spain, on Aug. 4, 2013. The 19-year-old became the first Japanese ever to win in that event at major international competitions, including the Olympic Games. At left is silver medal winner Chase Kalisz of the United States and at right is bronze medal winner Thiago Pereira of Brazil.
