New legislation body head
TOKYO, Japan - Ichiro Komatsu, new head of the Cabinet Legislation Bureau, speaks in an interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo on Aug. 19, 2013. Komatsu, who was appointed Aug. 8 chief of the legislation body, which offers legal advice to Cabinet members, said he is eager to discuss reviewing the government's current interpretation of Japan's war-renouncing Constitution over whether the country can exercise the right to collective self-defense.
