AirAsia Japan to change name to Vanilla Air

TOKYO, Japan - Tomonori Ishii, president of AirAsia Japan, a low-cost carrier wholly owned by ANA Holdings Inc., tells a news conference in Tokyo on Aug. 20, 2013, that it will change its name to Vanilla Air on Nov. 1 following the dissolution of the joint venture between its parent company and Malaysia's AirAsia Bhd.
